Fast-spreading wildfires force evacuation of New Mexico town

Two wildfires that have scorched about 19,000 acres in less than 24 hours forced the evacuation of the New Mexico mountain town of Ruidoso. The urgent evacuation led to a traffic jam as people fled on the main road out. So far, an estimated 500 structures have been damaged in the wildfires. Omar Villafranca has the latest.

    1. I’m SO tired of y’all talking about wildfires STOP IT. The American people are not ignorant. It’s called DEW direct energy weapons. Lasers starting all these fires

    2. So it is normal that the temperatures will go higher because it is what’s happening when we pass from spring to summer!
For the fire you can say thang not only to the people starting the fire but the government spraying their chemical on the forest to make it burning faster! Not climat change ! Or only change from the government to make it worst!

    3. Watch Duty reporting now over 1,400 structures burned now (2230 hours Mountain time). So sad. Beautiful country, and great people suffering from this.

    4. That's so sad 😢 I used to live in Roswell and would spend just about every weekend up in Ruidoso hiking camping going to the inn of the mountain gods and it's a truly breathtaking beautiful place to see it going up in flames is just gut wrenching praying they can get it under control relatively soon much love from Packers nation ❤

    5. Not again. In 2022, severe wildfires burned Santa Fe forests and Ruidoso. Then Covid forced a closure to avoid a strain on the town's infrastructure. They can't seem to catch a break.

    6. Another town taken out by D.E.W. near Roswell????🤔
Could they be filling the skies with smoke to obscure the UFO …their next False Flag event????
