Wildfires burn across northern California
in a state of emergency with fire Crews beating back more than a dozen active wildfires one of them is the Thompson fire which is now grown to at least 5 square miles it started near a recreation area with a large lake these fast moving Flames forcing the evacuation of at least 28,000 people and authorities say the extreme heat in the triple digits is making the firefighting efforts all that much worse I Suspect with the Red Flag Warning again today as but has experienced a lot of fires in the last two weeks we could see another one here in the county and and possibly new fires uh throughout the North State here thankful for all the effort all the air support I’m thankful for for all the firemen and firefighters 1,400 firefighters are on the lines but the Flames have still managed to destroy multiple cars and homes the cause is still under investigation
