A State of Emergency has been declared in North Carolina just days before the Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium, as a major winter storm threatens the region. Forecasts call for 6–10 inches of snow, forcing NASCAR to postpone Saturday on-track action.
The current plan is to race Sunday — but Monday or even Tuesday remains on the table if conditions worsen. Teams are being warned to prepare for extreme cold, frozen fluids, and limited track time.
Snow, short tracks, and uncertainty… this could be the wildest Clash yet.

This situation shows just how out of touch NASCAR'S management is with reality. I live in North Carolina and if the France family and Steve O'Donnell had even a lick of common sense they would have postponed the race until warmer weather.
