i know that japanese has various ways of respectfuully addressing people, i've heard a couple commonly used but never really understood their significance. this young girl always gets my attention as she is such an expressive dancer, great moves and she is incredibly pretty. i thought i'd try and find her name and kept getting Koharu-Chan, but equally i found other young girls named as XXX-chan, so i was somewhat confused. now i understand, i think, it would be similar to me addressing a young female friend as Miss Elizabeth, or Miss Chloe.
