$2,200 in running costs over 3 years is a fraction of the price difference between a tesla and an equivalent petrol car. Maybe 5, 10, 15 years from now they will make financial sense (and I look foward to that day) but right now they are expensive luxury cars you only buy if you have the disposable cash to spend on a specialty car
I do understand all that but id still take a petrol car because of the noise, range and durability
