【関越道】下りが渋滞中(嵐山PA付近の事故が原因で高坂SA付近まで約10Km渋滞中)2026.3.7
2026年3月7日、高崎から高尾山に向かうため関越自動車道 上りを走行中、高坂サービスエリア付近で撮影した映像です。
このとき、反対側の関越道 下り線が大きく渋滞していました。
原因は、嵐山PA付近（関越道下り45kmポスト付近）で発生した乗用車4台が絡む追突事故とのことです。
事故現場の映像はありませんが、現場では車両が停止し、事故処理が行われていました。
その影響で、下り線はおよそ10kmほどの渋滞になっていたようです。
この映像は、高坂サービスエリアで休憩したあと本線に戻り、合流後に左側車線から走行車線へ移る場面を撮影したものです。
反対車線には長い渋滞の列が続いており、事故の影響の大きさを感じました。
怪我をされた方がいなければよいなと思いました。
高速道路では思わぬ事故や渋滞が発生することもあるため、改めて安全運転の大切さを感じました。

On March 7, 2026, I was driving on the Kan-Etsu Expressway toward Mount Takao from Takasaki and recorded this video near Takasaka Service Area.
At that time, the opposite lane (downbound) of the expressway was heavily congested.
The cause was reportedly a rear-end collision involving four passenger cars near Ranzan Parking Area (around the 45 km post on the downbound lane).
There is no footage of the accident itself, but vehicles were stopped at the scene and accident handling was underway.
Because of this accident, the downbound lanes appeared to have a traffic jam of about 10 km.
This footage shows the moment after leaving Takasaka Service Area and merging back onto the main expressway, moving from the left lane to the driving lane.
A long line of traffic could be seen on the opposite side, showing the scale of the congestion caused by the accident.
I hope that no one was injured in the accident.
It reminded me once again how important safe driving is on expressways.

On 7 March 2026, I was driving on the Kan-Etsu Expressway heading from Takasaki to Mount Takao and filmed this footage near Takasaka Service Area.
At the time, the opposite direction of the expressway was heavily congested.
The cause was reportedly a four-car rear-end collision near Ranzan Parking Area, around the 45 km marker on the downbound side.
There is no footage of the accident itself, but vehicles had stopped at the scene and accident handling was underway.
Because of the crash, traffic heading downbound appeared to be backed up for roughly 10 kilometres.
This video shows the moment after leaving Takasaka Service Area and merging back onto the motorway, moving from the left lane into the driving lane.
You can see a long line of traffic in the opposite direction, showing how much impact the accident had.
I sincerely hope that no one was injured.
It was a good reminder of how important safe driving is on major highways.
