This one is interesting in that both ML and FL have legitimate reasons for their behaviors and choices. It's hard to side with one or the other because each is right and wrong at the same time in different ways. One thing the show doesn't do too well is stick to the premise that the ML is in love with the White Moonlight to the extent that he doesn't want a child with the FL–this part of the story never really gets there because the ML is too busy being confused about the FL's behavior and once the child is born, he's invested in both the child and in trying to figure out what's going with the FL and becomes too preoccupied to care about the White Moonlight at all, thereby messing up the entire premise of the "novel world".

To everyone upset about the leads being "annoying": 1) The ML is a 2D novel character who is cold and not good at expressing his feelings. In the novel the FL's character forces the ML into marriage via the old "drugging" trope. The FL is really a transmigrator who understands the script that the OG person is supposed to end up getting forced into an abortion by the ML and dumped for his White Moonlight. The FL decides to have the child but divorce the ML, but because her behavior and acions are a 180 of what the script of the novel is, the ML forgets about the White Moonlight and chases after the FL and the child. ML is rude to her, but that's because of the novel's conceit and setup–he still supports her financially and wants to care for her and the child. The FL of course has to be on guard because the ML's character is cold and rude and she can't afford to fall into the trap of having the novel play out the way it was written so she acts the way she acts to try and stay out of it. Ultimately, its all misunderstanding and cause/effect.
