Passengers aboard a Delta flight bound for Chicago experienced a frightening situation after the crew declared an emergency over the radio, reporting a strong fume event inside the aircraft. As the pilots worked with air traffic control to get priority handling, they explained that the odor had become so intense that several people in the back of the cabin were having difficulty breathing and complained of burning eyes. Anybody with a brain cell would know that you don't bring a fume emergency to the building! He'll land the plane you get it a safe place and you open the doors and you get the people out! You don't take a chance of poisoning everybody in the freaking airport 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄!!!!!!!!

I could be wrong but it almost sounded like the pilot was using a mask.
