The coastal city of La Guaira was devastated by the Venezuelan earthquakes. Eleven days after the twin quakes, the official death toll is around 3,000 and thousands are missing. The likelihood of finding survivors is becoming increasingly unlikely. DW reporter Johan Ramirez is in La Guaira, the coastal region at the epicenter of the catastrophe – where he met people who are still searching.

The cause and foundation of the earthquake problems is Italy and France Paris and America in jesus mighty names Amen,,,,, salam Aleikum,,, wa Aleikum salam
Their government was shamefully unprepared!
Don’t give up, I’m convinced people and animals are still alive under the rubble! I’m shocked that the government has told the best-trained and equipped international teams to stop.
I’m sure they were all great people but how will they recover all those bodies it’s absolutely impossible to recover every body. What they will do is bring in the heavy machinery and clear the entire area. What they should do is build container homes and buildings made out of containers because once those containers are interlocked and bolted deep into the ground not even a 100 foot wave would effect those containers built buildings and homes. Plus it’s so inexpensive to build container homes. Unfortunately the governments of the world are professionals at wasting and stealing money rather than do things properly
