Planes taking off should be less priority than the planes in the air. You need to get those planes down and quickly and safely as possible. It’s definitely a double edged sword because both roles are critical and safety. I don’t get why these people need to argue with they need to work together.
For context. This guy has been flying for 50 years. Apparently the rules are contested and the new limitation between airspace is illegal. He know the FFA is in a legal shitshow with the city so he is pushing buttons. Hate him but he has the upper hand
