Move Fast, Claim Authority, and let someone else deal with apologizing or cleaning up/covering up the damage has been his policy, expecting the courts not to act, the national guards to obey etc.
The one flaw your point has is that laws only protect us when there is enforcement behind them. Sadly, we don't have enough people in any branch of the government to definitively stop him if they choose to side with Donald Trump. I hope that your point is correct, I just don't have the faith in the people running our country to unite enough to stop him if he tries.
