#37 BMWは燃費を考慮し、上位陣ではピットインを一番遅らせており、現在2番手だが、トップ#5 TSRとの差は0.4秒を切っている。
#1 YART Yamaha Official EWC Team(Yamaha, BS)はトップ2とは30秒強離れ現在3番手。
スタート時は40度以上あった路面温度も、日が傾き出し徐々に下がり始めるこの時間。燃費、タイヤコンパウンドの変更など、チーム戦略も含め、長くて過酷な戦いが続く。

By 18:00 local time (01:00 JST the following day, +7 hours), the 56-car field that started the race had already seen an increasing number of teams forced into long pit repairs or retirement due to crashes and mechanical issues. Amid this, Bridgestone-supported teams locked out the top seven.
#5 F.C.C. TSR Honda France (Honda, BS) moved into the lead while #37 BMW MOTORRAD WORLD ENDURANCE TEAM (BMW, BS) was in the pits, and after three hours had completed 93 laps.
Managing fuel consumption, #37 BMW has been the last of the front-runners to pit; they currently run second with the gap to the leading #5 TSR under 0.4 seconds.
#1 YART Yamaha Official EWC Team (Yamaha, BS) is third, a little over 30 seconds behind the top two.
Track temperatures, over 40°C at the start, have begun to drop as the sun sinks. With fuel strategy, tyre compound changes, and more in play, the long, grueling battle continues.
