#12 Yoshimura SERT Motul (Suzuki, BS) was second, one lap down on the leader.
#1 YART Yamaha Official EWC Team (Yamaha, BS) was third, three laps off the lead.
#99 Elf Marc VDS Racing Team (Yamaha, BS) emitted white smoke at 666 laps and came to a stop; intensive repairs are underway in the pits.
#5 F.C.C. TSR Honda France (Honda, BS) recovered to fourth after its crash.
#11 Kawasaki Webike Trickstar (Kawasaki, BS) also fought back to seventh after mechanical issues.
Bridgestone-supported teams continue to battle, occupying six of the top seven with two hours to go.
For the championship: even if #37 BMW (BMW, BS) wins, if #1 YART (Yamaha, BS) moves up to second, the title will go to #1 YART.
