So are you saying this is true for every community that was evacuated because of wildfire or just First Nations? I have watched a fire roll across the top of the trees right towards me, where I am trying to water down a wooden shingles barn with a garden hose and the fire originated on a Metis Settlement 1 mile south of my home and yard. I had NO HELP from the settlement to put out this fire that threatened my home, my livestock and my family. It was the local volunteer fire department that came out to fight this fire that devastated not only me and mine but also my neighbors, all of whom participated in the local volunteer fire department. Take some responsibility, it is not the gov'ts or the "whites" who should be responsible, it is your communities, just like we are responsible for cleaning up someone else's mess.
