Very illegal, but not a "near miss" as the reporter called it, kid was still curbside when the car sped by had a good 5 seconds befire wouldve been in the street. And before you say 5 seconds is a near miss, do a quick "new year countdown" to remember how long a second actually is.
The bus driver is not allowed to open the door until all oncoming traffic has come to a complete stop.
Train bus drivers to drop off children on the same side of bus .stop dropping off ..so they have to cross street . .
In my state, bus drivers only drop off kids to the right so they don’t ever cross the street. This is why.

My dear friend lost her child right before her eyes, when a car ignored the flashing lights as her daughter got off the bus to cross the road!!! It was devastating!!!

Hmm 🤔 ; According to the video and I watched it several times , The car past then the boy steps into frame , the car had already passed before boy even seen the vehicle. Drivers license needs to be revoked and $10,000.00 fines for violation of this law. No reduction or Plea Deal.
This happens way to often, start taking people's license away.
